For admin types, not for usersAug 31, 2009 I got this a few days ago from Amazon and I am disappointed. This book focuses on administrative tasks - setting up workflows, dealing with clients - not on using the applications. It seems to be written for an owner / administrator of a print design / production shop. The application-specific information is confusing; the text wanders through different how-to passages but doesn't clearly point out which application is under discussion. The authors state early on that they would like to point up the similarities between the different applications; in practice, it just muddies things up, as you can't tell which application is being discussed until you get to a point where the particulars of that application diverge from the text. The book itself is the size of a small phone book which makes it difficult to use. Rather obvious concepts are discussed in excruciating detail; areas where users typically have problems aren't addressed.
Not recommended.

Well done ! Amazon.com, keep up the good work ! and wish to continue more business transaction. Delivery on time and book arrived in tip-top condition with ample padding.
I don't go to CHurch but i read the bibile...CS3 bibleFeb 12, 2009 i'm a graphic design college student and have spend alot of money on Adobe CS3 books. The CS3 bible is one of the most complete easily understandable books i have purchased and read. Wether you want to treat it as a quick reference or a class room in a book, either way if effective and rewarding. LOVES IT
Adobe Creative Suite 3Dec 16, 2008 Having read a library copy of this book, I decided to purchase it as a reference for the numerous programs includes in my Dreamweaver CS3 Premium suite of software. With them all integrating nicely into one another, moving from application to application is sometimes a challenge.

Not for experienced Adobe usersSep 26, 2008 This book spends more time showing how the programs are integrated and similar than on improving your skills. No scripting or advanced skills are shown. I was unable to look up any advanced skills in the index or TOC. I was specifically interested in learning Flash CS3 Professional and Dreamweaver CS3 in depth. The author's message was we do not go into this subject on several advanced techniques.
Not much help to me.
